Abstract :
Based on the classical electromagnetic theories, the Faraday magnetooptic effect in a diamagnetic medium is independent of temperature. In this study the geometric compensation methods is adopted and closed loop current sensor with frame structure is designed and fabricated based on the Faraday effect in diamagnetic media using SF6 glass. With the closed loop optical current sensor the experimental investigation on AC/DC current sensing has been carried out. Some experimental results are obtained and the conclusions are given
