  • Abstract
Recent years, embedded devices have been widely used in our daily life, such as mp3, mobile phone, PAD, etc. And wireless network, especially WiFi and 3G, has been rapidly developed and already covered in most of China. Since embedded devices are popular, their processing ability compared with personal computer (PC) is still far. In this paper, the author designs and implements a remote control system for embedded devices to remote control the PC via wireless network, which aims to make the embedded devices that are with limit resources, gain more processing power. The remote control system adopts client/server mode. The client is based on S3C6410 hardware platform and embedded Linux software platform. The server is developed by MFC. The result shows that by combining the advantages of both embedded devices and the wireless network, the usability of embedded devices is badly improved, which will facilitate people´s live and work.
