Abstract :
The setup of a new EXED experiment at HZB requires readout electronics for a position sensitive neutron detector based on the charge division method. This work describes design and performance validation of the proposed readout electronics. The construction and working principles of analog signal conditioning and digital data acquisition are explained in detail. Measurement setup and results of the performance validation procedure are presented and discussed.
