Abstract :
Synthesis of mesoporous TiO2 particles using ionic liquid (IL)-assisted sol-gel method was investigated. The product was analyzed and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Transmission electron microscope (TEM), and N2 adsorption and desorption. The products revealed higher photo catalytic activities than that of the commercially available TiO2, Degussa P25 in the photo degradation of methylene Blue.
