Abstract :
A class of ZVT converters based on pulse amplitude modulation controlled by duty cycle is presented. It is different from pulse width modulation and pulse frequency modulation which are generally used in most soft-switch converters. This converter provides faster dynamic response and wider operation range. Its static and dynamic analysis are presented and verified by simulations and experiments. Also, the procedure of parameter design is given in detail
