  • Abstract
    Time-Frequency Analysis methods can not have a higher detection rate for BPSK signal´s phase catastrophe-points under low SNR environment. A new phase catastrophe-points detection method is developed in this paper for BPSK signal in low SNR environment. First, it estimates signal´s carrier frequency and calculates the amplitude matrix of STFT transform at signal´s carrier frequency. Second, it sets a threshold and accumulates useful values. At last, it sets a proper threshold to detect phase catastrophe-points. The simulation proves the validity of the method and shows that the method can effectively improve the BPSK signal catastrophe-points detection rate under low SNR environment.
