Abstract :
In this paper, we propose an optical orthogonal code (OOC) acquisition scheme for optical code division multiple access (CDMA) systems. By employing multiple thresholds, the proposed scheme provides a better mean acquisition time (MAT) performance than the conventional scheme. Numerical results demonstrate that the MAT of the proposed scheme is shorter than that of the conventional scheme.
