Abstract
We demonstrate a 40-Gbps signal transmission of DPSK-OCDMA over PON for 20 km with a programmable 32-level phase-shifted en/decoder for the first time to our knowledge. Furthermore, the maximum number of subscribers supported by an 8, 16 and 32-level phase-shifted en/decoder is 7, 16 and 19, respectively.
