Abstract :
This paper focuses on the effect of BER of 3d OCDMA codes with varying data rates. Performance of the codes has been evaluated in terms of bit error rate and Q factor with 1 Gbps, 1.5 Gbps, 2 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, 3 Gbps,3.5 Gbps & 4 Gbps systems taking the advantage that light could be propagated in two orthogonal polarization states. Simulations were carried out using commercially available simulator from Rsoft, OPTSIM.
