Abstract :
In this paper, we present a peer-to-peer (P2P) architectural solution to achieve continuous connectivity and seamless mobility across all technologies. This solution takes mobility management away from the networks, and transfers it to the mobile clients in order to make mobility independent of the network. Most important advantage of this approach is that it simplifies cross-technology handovers to a great extent, because networks do not have to negotiate the handover. As another consequence of being network-independent, this approach is compatible with existing wireless networks, thus we can take advantage of existing coverage without any costly upgrades. In addition, this architecture inherently provides multiple identities to mobile clients as a result of its de-centralized structure
