Abstract :
A synthesis algorithm and geometric dimension optimization of the microstrip attenuators of the range up to 50 GHz by transformation of its equivalent circuit is proposed. The comparative analysis of various attenuator topologies according to their frequency responses is provided; valid conclusion about efficiency of different models is drawn. The reliability of the method is tested by applying it to the already developed attenuators.
