Chairman´s welcome

On behalf of the Siberian Federal University and members of the Scientific and Technical Program Committees, I would like to welcome you to the SIBCON-2013 International Siberian Conference on Control and Communications. The conference was established with the support of the IEEE Electron Devices Society and IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society to address interconnect issues from both fundamental materials viewpoints as well as system-level perspectives. Ever-increasing demands for greater circuit density and performance present enormous connectivity challenges. This conference is actually a joint venture of four sessions addressed to fundamental problems of communication and control theory, radar, radio physics, microwave, and nanotechnology. The scope indeed fits the title, “The Siberian Radio Electronics”.
