Abstract :
Based on extension set, extension detecting can transform undetectable matter-element into detectable matter-element by transforming thing and characteristic. So that information which sensor can not detect can be detected. The paper applies extension detecting in intrusion detection system (IDS). Based on three characteristic of intrusion system, which are attack, space and time, the paper sets up an IDS model which is based on extension detecting. Based on reliability which is acquired from IDS, intrusion attack can be judged. The IDS model has great theory significance and practical value.
