The source of the core competitiveness of enterprises is knowledge and knowledge competitiveness in knowledge economy period. How to manage knowledge is the key to enhancing core competitiveness and achieving sustainable development of enterprises. In addition to introduce the knowledge management, the concept of core competencies and their relationship, This paper analyzes the necessity of enhancing knowledge management of the coal enterprises, and put forward some concrete feasible ways to strengthen the knowledge management, and to enhance the core competitiveness of coal enterprises.
