Abstract :
The measurement of the cigarette draw resistance is an important item in the tobacco enterprises. The traditional instrument calculation, classification and sorting of all measured samples are worked by human, so it has disadvantages of high cost, slow speed and low precision. Therefore, an automatic sort instrument of cigarette draw resistance is designed, which has self-owned intellectual property. In the instrument, the outputs of all motors are connected with the mechanical device directly without any intermediate transmissions. The TMS320LF2407 chip is used as the controller, which realizes the automatic measurement and control. The system has been used in a cigarette factory in Shandong province. The result of the experiment shows that the instrument is reliable. In the paper, the mechanical and electrical parts are introduced in details.
