Abstract :
This study combines OWA and rough set to enhance the existing classification methods. The OWA operator proposed in this paper can adjust the weight of attribute based on the situation conditions, and aggregate different attribute values into one single aggregated value, which is utilized to product classification rules. To verify the proposed method, this research collects the financial data of 629 Initial Public Offerings electronic firms in 2004 year to forecast the accuracy of growth rate for electronic firms. The results show that the proposed method outperforms the listing methods.
