Abstract :
Defect of the rail in service of Shanghai metro is very fearful. So as to it is heavy for checking and maintenance for steel rail. In this paper, the method of metro rail defect detection is introduced, and the main categories of rail defect is analyzed. According to the statistical analysis of a large number of detection data of the metro and the studying of its regularity, these conclusions are used to guide the work of metro rail maintenance in the future.
