Abstract :
The prospects of a creation of the high-temperature coal-fired combined steam-cycle power units which operate similarly to combined cycle plants, but use superheated steam at pressure about 1 MPa instead of gas in the upper cycle (implementing the Field-Baranovsky cycle), are considered in the article. The calculation results for the high-temperature turbocompressor set in the power range from 30 to 100 MW are submitted.
