Abstract
Over the last years TlBr crystals took the stable place among the detector materials, demonstrating the promising spectrometric performance both for the single and pixel detectors. The developed growth technology allows to growth TlBr ingots with diameter of 26 mm and provides reproducibility of spectrometry grade performance of the detector crystals. The crystals have the specific resistance of (3–5)×1011 Ohm × cm and mobility-life time product about ∼10−4 cm2/V both for the electrons and the holes.
