Abstract :
The paper considers the interaction of the excitation source and the mechanical vibrating system, the excitation source itself being a part of the system. The system is subject to external restraint in the form of a dry friction force. The results obtained reveal that when the parameters of vibrating systems including with excitation source have to be chosen the external operational conditions (the condition of operation) should be taken into consideration.
