            Abstract : 
Partial discharges measurements are performed in polyethylene vented samples (HDPE-air gap-HDPE). Some characteristics of PD-activity (PDIV, PD-number, PD-phase) are recorded versus voltage waveform (sinus and square). The effect of the voltage frequency is also analyzed. Experimental data is compared with theoretical results using the abc-model. Some hypothesis are done to explain the deviation from theoretical behaviors
