Abstract :
A method for tracking on motion of small target is presented that is based on edge detection of image sequences. This approach detects the edge of small target of image sequences first and decides the position of centroid. According to the position tracking on motion of small target can be completed by least-square fit. The trajectory of tracking and collecting of small target is compared. The result implies that the tracking on small target comparing to experiment has little error and can achieve satisfactory effect.
