Abstract :
This paper presents an analysis of steady-state and transient-state characteristics of capacitor-input-type diode rectifier with an input isolation transformer consisting of primary-delta/secondary-star windings on three-phase rectangular-voltage-fed distribution system. The validity of the analysis has been confirmed by experiments using the 2.4 kW prototype. Through the study, the usefulness of the proposed rectangular-voltage-fed distribution system has been shown.
