Abstract :
The paper describes a new and original technique for measuring the capacitance and power factor of electrical insulation. The technique simultaneously uses two test frequencies, one above and one below the power frequency. As the power frequency itself is not used in the measurement, the test method works effectively under severe power frequency interference conditions
