Abstract :
A method allowing synchronous reset of the pulse-reset preamplifiers in detector arrays is proposed. The reset can be initiated both internally and externally. The output voltage of each preamplifier is always kept in the working voltage range in spite of leakage current and count rate fluctuations of the individual detectors. The resets repetition rate is determined by the detector requiring most often charge restoration. This method takes full advantage of the pulse-reset preamplifiers use and completely avoids the crosstalk between the detectors.
