Abstract
Experimental demonstration of the inhibition and redistribution of spontaneous light emission (SE) by using defect-free 2D photonic crystal slab is reported. Detailed results using a series of two-dimensional (2D) PC slabs with a quantum well (QW) light emitter are presented.
