Abstract :
To begin with texture feature extraction, it presents how to efficiently extract texture features to describe the content of images, then based on the common methods to acquire the fractal dimension of an image nowadays to extracted texture features, a new efficient algorithms of texture feature of two different fractal dimension is designed and realized in image retrieval system. The experimental results proved that fractal dimension as texture feature algorithm reflects texture feature of image more precisely. Conclusion: Be a large of quantity image retrieval, effective image feature extraction is a powerful tool in the research information classification and identification of areas with potential.
