Abstract :
GIS partial discharge monitoring sensor has been studied a lot, but GIS Ultra High Frequency (UHF) sensor is difficult to get a reasonable arrangement limited to the installation requirements and complex conditions of the installation process. The paper studies the propagation characteristics of 126 kV GIS UHF signals using experimental and simulation methods in combination, and on this basis, listing the number of configuration and arrangement of UHF sensor based on 126 kV GIS partial discharge. The research is of instructive reality to UHF sensor´s reasonable installation and economic arrangement in GIS partial discharge.
