Abstract :
A variety of techniques, including spectral measurements, near-field, and time-resolved spatial heterodyne imaging technique are employed to investigate the properties of surface plasmon polaritons. Such techniques may prove useful for investigating the properties of SPP waves, and their interaction with the surrounding media, intended for a variety of applications, including various sensors and future plasmon based integrated devices.
