Abstract :
This paper presents a distributed World Wide Web management model based on mobile agents. The model includes a distributed Web server system and a multi-agent system which is responsible for its management. Solving a Web management problem requires a whole lot of tasks. The paper defines a multi-agent system operating on behalf of a Webmaster, specifies formal models, management tasks and management knowledge, and gives a case study describing an agent Webmaster
