Abstract
This study is concerned with a methodology for the acquisition, computation and modeling of joint anatomy and motion data in order to highlight the close relationship between the morphology of the joint and its functionality. The mathematical theory used for this modeling is detailed, steps in the computer elaboration are reported and first results are presented and discussed.
