Power considerations for cable telephony networks

There has been renewed interest in providing data and telephony services over the hybrid-coaxial network used to provide cable television services. We provide a summary of the current status of these efforts and the implications for powering such networks. In particular, changes in powering needed to provide primary-line cable telephony services are discussed
