Abstract :
Nonlinear dynamics for vertical-cavity surface-emitting semiconductor lasers subjected to optical injection are experimentally investigated. Locking and unlocking dynamics, and chaotic oscillations are found for the variations of the optical injection ratio and the frequency detuning.
