  • Abstract
    A complete system solution for automated integration of substation Intelligent Electronic Device (IED) data to generate a customized event report for protection engineers is presented in this paper. Detailed strategy for IED data processing and information exchange to meet the needs of protection engineers is proposed. An Implementation approach is discussed next followed by a simulation case used to generate a sample report format.
