Abstract :
The wireless transmission of control sequences to unmanned undersea vehicle (UUV) in a long range and shallow water is a challenging task, because of the distortion of signal due to the characteristics of the ocean waveguide. In this paper, we review and demonstrate the feasibility of applying the time-reversal processing (TRP) and adaptive TRP (ATRP) to the transmission of control signal sequences. One of the advantages of TRP is the achievement of high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for given signal power. The examples include the control signal with the multiple foci. The numerical simulations are presented and discussed.
