  • Abstract
A method for reflecting a user\´s intentions regarding optimization of large-scale combinatorial problem by providing an interactive user interface connecting a "design space" and an "evaluation space" was developed. Since the design space is easier for a user to understand and the planning system executes optimization in the evaluation space, we arranged an interpreter of the user\´s intention expressed in the design space to the description in the evaluation space. The method was applied to multi-satellite communication planning problem, and its effectiveness was evaluated by using a prototype of interactive plan-making support system.
