Abstract :
Recent advances in cardiac MRI show promise for realizing the long-awaited adoption of cardiac MRI as a clinical tool. These include hardware advances such as faster gradients, faster image acquisition methods such as the use of steady state free precession methods and new areas of application such as the use of delayed enhancement for viability imaging and quantitative assessment of function and perfusion.
