Abstract :
Because of the increasing pressure for improved the efficiency single-phase motor, a novel single-phase induction motor with three winding in series and two capacitors has been provided to be capable of high efficiency demand. This paper introduces the basic structure and operational principle of the new type motor. A voltage source driving complex finite element model for the novel high efficiency single-phase induction motor is presented and the validity of the simulation model is tested and verified through the experiment.
