Abstract :
Jet element is the key element of the attitude control system of some aircrafts. The switch time of jet element is critical factor to control precision. In this study, Jet element is investigated and the math model of jet element is constituted in order to decrease the switch time. The factors which effect the switch time are studied. The static and dynamic characteristics of the device were investigated analytically and by computer simulation. The results show that the math model of jet element is a third-order system, and the perimeters of system transfer function are different when jet element work in different conditions. The optimum value of area ratio between the supply channel and exhaust port for the factors which effect the switch time are different. We need to analyze idiographic work condition of jet element and select the optimum area ratio in order to get best control result.
