Abstract
Now the main research of the low SNR detection in presence of strong interference focuses on the study of adaptive interference cancelling, but in fact the result is not as good as expected. Based on the idea of shielding the interference direction, the inverse beamforming algorithm (IBF) is proposed. Both theoretical analysis and computer simulation show that this new algorithm can improve the effect of detecting the weak target. Meanwhile the algorithm is suitable for both wideband and narrowband signals. After analyzing the data of lake trial, the result shows the effectiveness of this new algorithm.
