Abstract :
In this paper, the review of a dynamic linearizing modulator (DLM) for the boost converter is presented, which transforms the open-loop converter into a linear amplifier with an operating frequency as high as one-fifth the switching frequency. Small signal dynamic analysis of DLM is performed. The effect of inductor size over the system dynamics is discussed. The theoretical predictions of dynamic response are validated using an experimental prototype.
