Abstract :
The service platform server and its application software in the ATM switching system were implemented to provide various multimedia interactions, especially VOD and Internet services. The technologies of the networks, protocols, interfaces, and configurations of the ADSL system are explained, along with the maximum transmission distance from the subscribers to the switching systems using the existing twisted pair cables
