  • Abstract
As a company poised for growth and continued success, KEMA realized the importance and significance of Knowledge Management in its consulting business. With the goal of addressing the issues associated with lost knowledge and expertise, a company wide initiative was conceived and implemented whose primary objective was to empower employees by providing them with the required knowledge at their fingertips. This knowledge - for rapidly writing proposals, developing deliverables, locating personnel by skills, or retaining intellectual property - has been a key factor in KEMA´s business performance. This paper presents KEMA´s approach and shares practical implementation experience.
