Abstract :
Antenna arrays in an equilateral triangle configuration can simultaneously provide optimum correlation between antennas at almost vertical incidence as well as substantial suppression of low incidence angle interference and high two-dimensional location finding resolution. In all configurations the use of a center antenna is beneficial for all three requirements: test of consistency of phase data over the whole antenna array, indicating single sources for each Doppler line, as well as maximum interference suppression and optimization for the direction finding resolution
