Abstract :
The ultimate safety strategy for train transportation is to monitor the health of train operators, for a sudden illness could cause a serious accident. This paper describes the monitoring of physical conditions by non-invasive measurement of heart-beat. During operation of a high-speed train, heart-beat could be measured 63.3% of the time.
