Abstract :
Complete drive (motor plus the converter) simulation by using circuit modelling or by solving numerical equations leads to a compromised solution either in circuit approximations, or in integration time step. These limitations are overcome by using a modified nodal analysis. In this solution, the mutual inductance representation becomes simple and the complete drive is modelled into a single matrix. The drive modelling, simulation and results are given in this paper.
