Abstract

RCS offers mobile subscribers an anywhere, anytime communications experience over any device. RCS Web Widget can be embedded to web 2.0 social networks, and provides end users to do enriched communication with each other through a standard web browser. To achieve this, a so-called Telecom Exposure Layer at the operator network provides interfaces to easily integrate telecom capabilities with Internet services, and a Telco APIs exposure reference model for telecom operators to expose their network and services capabilities is present. A use case of RCS Web Widget embedded to SNS reflects the concept of mashing up telecom services with Web 2.0.
