Abstract :
In order to improve the reliability, maneuverability and survivability, modern advanced aircrafts generally configure with redundant actuators. To use the potential of redundant configuration and distribute the control power into proper control surfaces, constrained control allocation is introduced to satisfy the desired objectives while avoiding saturation. This paper considers the problem of redesigning a flight control system to achieve acceptable stability and performance in the presence of a control surface failure with the remaining healthy control effectors. And a reconfigurable flight control scheme based on control allocation, together with robust flight control law, is implemented in the overall flight control systems for a realistic and nonlinear tailless aircraft model. Partial loss of control effectiveness faults have been used for evaluating the proposed reconfigurable control scheme. The simulation results show the satisfactory results for accommodating the control effectors failures.
