Abstract
The reconfiguration decisions taken in the control center for terrestrial power system or in shipboard power system are highly depends on the data received from the field. Most of the field devices will have certain amount of error associated with its measurement data. Uncertainty in meter measurements may result in the malfunctioning or unwanted switching operations of the power system. In this paper, an attempt to deal with such errors in reconfiguration of power systems has been developed using fuzzy correction technique. Developed fuzzy correction technique has been applied for Genetic Algorithm (GA) based reconfiguration method to compare the results between reconfiguration done with fuzzy correction of error data and reconfiguration done without fuzzy correction of error data. Simulation results show positive responses for the developed technique.
