Abstract
In this paper, an existing stability determination method for linear time-delay system is re-examined, and a matrix approach is developed for carrying out the numerical computations required. The new computation approach does not involve any symbolic manipulations as suggested in the original method, and is thus much more feasible for higher dimensional systems. With the new computation approach, examples of linear time-delay systems are checked to determine their stability for all time-delay sizes, and it is seen that the new approach is indeed effective and efficient.
